Common questions

Where do I get the app?

Nowhere yet. Lingonyx is in development and not yet published in the App Store or on Google Play. As soon as it is, the link will be on the home page.

Do I need an account?

No. The app works entirely without an account and without a network connection. An account backs up your progress and lets you continue it on a second device. If you only want to try it out, tap Start right away and decide later.

I forgot my password

Tap Forgot password on the sign-in screen and enter the email address of the account. The mail comes from noreply@lingonyx.com. If nothing arrives, the spam folder is worth a look first.

How does my progress get to a new device?

Create or link an account on the old device, then sign in with the same account on the new one. Your progress is loaded from there. Without an account it stays on the device where it was made.

I found a mistake in a card

On the learning screen you can write feedback about any card. It remembers the place in the course so it can be found later. If you prefer writing: a mail with the word or sentence and the language is enough.

What does Lingonyx cost?

Lingonyx will be a subscription. Before that you can try it for free and see in peace whether this way of learning suits you. There are no ads. Price and trial length will be here as soon as the app is in the store.

How do I delete my account?

In the app under Settings, Account, Delete account. The full description with everything that gets removed is on the page Delete account.

What belongs in a bug report

Three details help to find a problem quickly:

• device and version of the operating system, for example iPhone 14 with iOS 18
• version of the app, it is at the very bottom of the settings
• what you did before the error appeared

A screenshot often replaces a long description. Attachments go to the same address.
